The initiative of the UNESCO Chair on Cultural-Historical Psychology of Childhood was approved by the Secretariat of the International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development

 The program «Dissemination of Best Practices in Psychological, Pedagogical, and Correctional-Developmental Support for Preschool and School Education», developed by the staff of the UNESCO Department of Cultural-Historical Psychology of Childhood, has been approved by the Secretariat of the Decade of Science for Sustainable Development.

The International Decade of Science for Sustainable Development for 2024–2033 was approved by UN General Assembly Resolution A/RES/77/326 dated August 25, 2023.

 

The program is aimed at achieving Sustainable Development Goal 4: «Ensuring Inclusive and Equitable Quality Education for All and Promoting Lifelong Learning», established within the framework of UNESCO’s medium-term strategy for 2022–2029.

 

The key objective of the program is to identify and share practices and technologies of psychological, pedagogical, and correctional-developmental support for preschool and school education with proven effectiveness to enhance the impact on education and social spheres and improve social policy.
